1. Corporate Internship Program

The program offers YISS students direct exposure to global corporate settings in the heart of Seoul, Korea.  Taking advantage of Yonsei University’s vast alumni networks and strong ties with business and educational partners, the program provides students with the opportunity to gain professional work experience and to build social networks in some of the world’s leading companies and organizations. Do not miss this opportunity to advance your career during this summer.

Program Period :
 Jun 21, 2021 ~ Aug 5, 2021 (6 weeks)

Qualifications :
2021 YISS participants enrolled in an accredited foreign university (*Students enrolled in an accredited college or university in Korea, high school seniors who have been accepted to university, and Yonsei students are not eligible to apply)

Program Benefits
  • Research internship opportunity at Yonsei University
  • Scholarship or financial support (amount and payment method may vary according to a project)
  • Earn six (6) credit points: (3) credits for the internship (Graded on Pass/Non-Pass basis) and (3) credits for YISS.
  • Receive a certificate of completion and become an official member of the internship network
  • Security Pledge Agreement and Collection of Personal Information Agreement
  • Additional documents, such as a collection of personal information, may be required (security issues related to research projects are essential in terms of researchers).
How to Apply:
To apply for the internship program, students are required to
  • Be accepted to Yonsei International Summer School
  • Submit the completed internship application online by Apr 23, 2021 ( Korea Standard Time Zone: 11:59 PM )
    • * Internship application will be available from Apr 5, 2021
  • Pay the full tuition for the YISS by Apr 23, 2021
    • * Exchange students do not need to pay the tuition to Yonsei.
  • Pay the placement fee of KRW 200,000 once accepted as an intern by Jun 4, 2021
Application Timeline
Once your application is submitted, it will be forwarded to the internship sponsor, who will ultimately make a selection. Some laboratory centers may choose to interview short-listed candidates by telephone or in-person before recruiting interns.

2. Research Internship Program

This program is designed for highly qualified and motivated Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) students who are interested in research projects or advanced coursework. Research Internship Program offers selected students the opportunity to participate in research projects or work as an intern in research centers or organizations at Yonsei University.
