[Bachelor Degree] Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) Undergraduate Scholarship 2021, Vietnam (Full Scholarship)

Every academic year, Ton Duc Thang University awards a number of Scholarships to qualified candidates to undertake Bachelor’s Degree study. 
In 2020, TDTU offers more than 200 full and partial scholarships for international students. Applicants with TDTU's scholarships will not pay the tuition fee/dormitory fee (accommodation).

1. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS TAUGHT IN VIETNAMESE
(a 1-year Vietnamese language preparation course & a 4-year undergraduate program)
Prospective students of the Undergraduate programs taught in Vietnamese language will start the Vietnamese language course from 6 months to 1 year to achieve B2 Vietnamese language certificate before enrolling the 4-year undergraduate program. If you have the language proficiency requirement, you will start the undergraduate program immediately.

Year intake:
  • Fall semester: September 2020
  • Spring semester: January 2021
Total number of scholarships: 50

Benefit:
  • Tuition fee + Dormitory fee (accommodation)
  • Mode of granting: Successful applicants with scholarship decision by TDTU are exempt from the payments for tuition fee and dormitory fee (accommodation).
  • Time length of validity: 5 years


Requirements:
  • High school graduate students or equivalence in other countries outside Vietnam territory. 
  • Nationality of Applicants: Foreign nationality EXCEPT Laotian, Cambodian, Thai.
  • Last grade high school average academic performance or equivalence must be Average Good or above.
  • According to the applicant’s high school academic performance, the scholarship appraising council at TDTU selects the best ones from the applicant list to offer the scholarships until they are no longer available.
  • For those who apply for the major Pharmacy, you need to meet more two requirements:
    • The average academic score result of the last grade of high school or equivalence must be Good or higher.
    • The average Chemistry score of the last grade of high school or equivalence must be ≥7.0 (scale 10.0).
Programs/Major for applying:
Applicants choose 1 out of 40 majors from the Undergraduate Program taught in Vietnamese language.

2. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS TAUGHT IN ENGLISH
(a 4-year undergraduate program)

Year intake:
  • Fall semester: September 2020
  • Spring semester: January 2021
Total number of scholarships: 50

Benefit:
  • Budget coverage: Tuition fee + Dormitory fee (accommodation)
  • Mode of granting: Successful applicants with scholarship decision by TDTU are exempt from the payments for tuition fee and dormitory fee (accommodation).
  • Time length of validity: 4 years

Requirements:
  • High school graduate students or equivalence in other countries outside Vietnam territory.Nationality of Applicants: Foreign nationality except Laotian, Cambodian, Thai.
  • Average academic performance of the last grade in high school or equivalence must be Average Good or 6.5 (scale 10.0) or above.
  • IELTS 5.0 or equivalence of English language proficiency, or you must pass TDTU's English language proficiency assessment test. Applicants from countries where English is your primary language are exempt from this requirement.
According to the applicant’s high school academic performance, the scholarship appraising council at TDTU selects the best ones from the applicant list to offer the scholarships until they are no longer available.

Deadline:
  • Fall semester: 31st July, 2020
  • Spring semester: 30th November, 2020
Scholarship result announcement date:
  • Fall semester: 10th August, 2020
  • Spring semester: 10th December, 2020
The result is announced to the applicant's email.

Before the result announcement date, applicants should check email regularly in order to update your application in case it is not proper.

Applicants intending to study at TDTU need to have a passport in order that you can go to Vietnam before you are announced to be eligible to study at TDTU. The passport should be ready by the result announcement date.
