[Bachelor Degree] Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Scholarship 2020, Yogyakarta (Full Tuition Fee)

UMY provides scholarships for new students who excel in academic and non-academic fields.

Among others are:

1. Kader Unggulan Muhammadiyah Scholarship (KAUM)

Kader Unggulan Muhammadiyah Scholarship is provided for the students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) who possess academic achievements and are active in Muhammadiyah organizations. It is a full scholarship for four academic years, granted to deserving students of the University.

This scholarship is awarded to five students of UMY for the academic year 2020/2021 taking a degree on either of the following courses:

Requirements

Applicants must be a recent high school graduate (2019 or 2020)
Applicants must possess a Muhammadiyah membership card (NBM: Nomor Baku Muhammadiyah/Muhammadiyah membership number).
Applicants should be active in the Muhammadiyah organization proven by a letter of appointment (SK Kepengurusan) or an official letter stating the applicants’ association.
Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from the Chairman of the Regional Muhammadiyah organization.
Applicants must be willing to engage in Muhammadiyah Student Association.
Applicants must come from an underprivileged family attested by an official relief letter issued by a headman. The underprivileged family has either of the following economic status:

The total income of both parents with permanent or freelance work is less than IDR 3,000,000/month in recent year, or
The total income of both parents divided among family members is less than IDR 750,000/month.

How to Apply:
UMY students admitted during the academic year 2016/2017, who would like to apply for Kader Unggulan Muhammadiyah Scholarship, should:

Fill-out a scholarship registration form
Submit the filled-out registration form together with the following requirements:
A certified copy of high school certificate.
A certified copy of high school transcripts from semester 1 to 5.
Two 3 x 4 cm black and white photographs
An official letter from the high school headmaster/principal stating the applicants’ achievements together with a copy of certificates of academic and non-academic achievements (if available).
Parents’ income slip or an official letter from their district office proving applicants’ underprivileged family status.
A copy of a family card.
A death certificate of parents for orphan applicants.
A picture of applicants’ house displaying front, side, and inside appearances.

Scholarship Regulations The scholarship will continuously be provided if the:

Awardees gain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.00 for social science programs and 2.75 for exact/physical science programs of each semester.
Awardees are active in Muhammadiyah Student Association

2. Hafizh Muhammadiyah UMY Scholarship (Hafizh)

Hafidzh Muhammadiyah UMY Scholarship is available to the students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) for the academic year 2020/2021 who are able to memorize the Al-Quran. It is a full scholarship for four academic years where the grantees are evaluated each semester.

This scholarship is awarded to fourteen students of UMY for the academic year 2016/2017 who are taking a degree on either of the following courses:

Requirements

Applicants must be a recent high school graduate (2019 or 2020 graduate)
Applicants must be able to memorize at least 5 juz (equal sections) of AL-Qur’an proven by a certificate issued by an Institution.
Applicants must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

How to Apply:
Applicants, who would like apply for Hafidzh Muhammadiyah UMY Scholarship, must:

Fill-out a scholarship registration form
Submit the form and the following required documents to Student Admission Office of UMY:
A certified copy of high school certificate.
A certified copy of high school transcripts from semester 1 to 5.
A copy of a certificate or an official letter from an institution stating that the applicants are able to memorize 5 juz (equal sections) of Al-Qur’an.
Two 3 x 4 cm black and white photographs
An official letter of a high school headmaster/principal stating the applicants’ achievements and a copy of certified certificate of academic and non-academic achievements.

Scholarship Regulations The scholarship will continuously be provided if the:

Awardees gain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.00 for social science programs and 2.75 for exact/physical science programs of each semester.
Awardees who memorize 30 juz of Al Qur’an may maintain their memorization, and awardees who memorize less than 30 juz of Al-Qur’an may enhance their memorization.

3. Prestasi Unggulan UMY Scholarship (BPU)
Prestasi Unggulan UMY Scholarship is provided for applicants or admitted students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) of academic year 2020/2021 who possess national and international academic and non-academic achievements. This scholarship is provided for one year.

This scholarship is available for UMY students winning academic or non-academic competitions such as:

The Olympics (Social/Sciences)
Research and Scientific Writing
Speech and Debate
Sports
Arts and Cultures
or being an Indonesian delegates in international events

This scholarship is awarded to five students of UMY for the academic year 2020/2021 who enrolled in any of the following programs of the University:

Applicants must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

Applicants, who would like to apply for Prestasi Unggulan UMY Scholarship, should:

Fill-out a scholarship application form
Submit the accomplished form together with the following required documents to the Student Admission Office of UMY:
A certified copy of high school certificate.
A certified copy of high school transcripts of semester 1 – 5.
Two 3 x 4 cm black and white photographs
A copy of achievement certificates

Scholarship Regulations
The scholarship will continuously be provided if the:

Awardees gain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.00 for social science programs and 2.75 for exact/physical science programs in every semester.
Awardees are able to obtain achievements of the same or higher field during their study at UMY.
