To be considered for a scholarship, you must hold an offer to study at the University and fulfil certain eligibility. The scholarship availability, amount and eligibility will depend on the country and/or region that you come from.

1. Bachelor Degree
Bristol Business School are pleased to offer four scholarships for international students wishing to enrol on our BA(Hons) International Business programme for 2019/20 September entry.
Benefit:
- One for 50% tuition fees for first year of study only
- Four for £1,500 off tuition fees for first year of study only
Requirement:
Applicants will be eligible for consideration if the following criteria are met:
- Must hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
- Must be a national of, and resident in a country outside of the EU.
- Must not have previously studied in the UK.
- Be classed as overseas for fees purpose.
- Must have provided the official transcripts at the time of application.
- Must not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award.
- are a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
- meet all individual course requirements
- have an offer (conditional or unconditional) on the BA(Hons) International Business undergraduate degree at UWE Bristol for 2018/19 entry
- are not currently registered on any other undergraduate course at UWE Bristol.
How to Apply:
- In order to submit an application for this scholarship, you’ll first need to apply and receive an offer for the BA (Hons) International Business.
- Once you receive an offer you will be invited to upload a personal statement that should address the following:
- In which way do you imagine yourself contributing to the BA(Hons) International Business community during and after graduation?
- You should clearly write and save the document as “Personal Statement for the BA (Hons) International Business Scholarship” before uploading via your welcome portal.
Important information
- Sponsored students are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Students who are progressing from a partner institute where reduced fees have been agreed are not eligible for this scholarship.
- This scholarship is awarded as a fee discount and is not a cash sum.
- This scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, so you do not need to make a separate application.
- If you defer your place, the discount scheme offer will be withdrawn.
Please note that successful candidates will need to demonstrate they hold sufficient funds to cover their living expenses. This evidence must be supplied when accepting the scholarship.

Recipients of this scholarship will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Office or other departments and will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course.

How to Apply:
- The application deadline for the September 2019 scholarship is Sunday 28 April 2019. Applicants who have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in an undergraduate degree will be invited to apply via their UWE Welcome portal by completing the scholarship task.
- If you are successful, you will be notified via email by Friday 31 May 2019.
- If you accept the scholarship, you will need to pay your £3,000 deposit to UWE Bristol within a week of receiving your scholarship offer letter. You will also have to prove that you satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fees.
